Hi.

I'm Owen.

I’m a kid on the internet, with a passion for tech. I’ve been doing it now for 8 years, playing Space Cadet pinball in the real early days, and downloading fake anti-viruses. I’ve grown since then, and I do lots of systems administrations, code, tweak and mod stuff, and anything I can do with tech.

The beginnings

Way far back, to the time I was born, I barely knew about technology. All I knew was that there were TVs, Clifford, Thomas, and that’s it. Towards when I was around 6 years old, I loved playing on my mom’s laptop (with Space Ball Cadet!), and somehow deleted files and installed random cleaning programs that I saw on TV (NEVER TRUST THEM). Towards 2009, when I was somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 or 8 years old, I got my first ever gadget, my blue iPod nano 5th generation (that still works!), and my love for technology started. It really kicked off in the middle of 2010, when I got addicted.

The middle times

After the initial storm of 2009 and 2010, I kept piling on the electronics. Whenever I visited NYC, always went to the 5th Avenue Apple Store, and I loved the iPad and MacBook Air to death, and yes, I got both in September 2010, and December 2010. Things really started rolling, and I had also gotten an iPod touch 4th generation later in February 2011, and more new gadgets. Throughout 2011 and 2012, a video camera, Point and shoot camera, iPod touch 5th generation, some old gadgets, and more. I wasn’t in to tinkering, I kept everything the same, only played with them (because I was scared to brake them). I did code some Scratch at about this time. At the turn of around ten, it was the crack of dawn to the more advanced parts of my life.

The few years ago

Through 2012 and 2013, new gadgets kept coming. In September 2012, I got my first actual phone, my iPhone 5. June 2013, got an upgrade to my MacBook Air, my current MBA 13 inch. Got a Mac Mini in January 2014, and started my Minecraft Server in September 2013. The gadgets kept flowing, and late 2014 into early 2015 started the tinkering. I started to mod a Droid Incredible to run Android 4.4. My friend showed me jailbreaking, and how to put Windows on a Mac, DD-WRT, a custom router firmware, and I kept the spirit strong. I independently got loads of applications on my calculator, and kept going. I call it, making stuff my own. During this time, I also learned C++, Java, and HTML, making Mad Libs in both C++ and Java, and experimenting a bit in HTML. And this entire spirit kept going straight through 2015.

Right now

Throughout 2014, I started my first website, which got SQL hacked too many times. My MC server was doing really well, and things started getting even better. I moved to real web hosting in June 2015, and moved to professional MC server hosting in August 2015. I started focusing more on server administration and development, while still tweaking at the same time. Once 2016 rolled around, I started up more TS3 servers, kept tinkering, and making more sites, and closing more sites too. I had moved to a VPS in May 2016, and found my love for site development, and server administration and development. While my tweaking had gone down at this point, I still was installing Xposed, ROMs, and other fun stuff on other devices, and tried getting apt on my router (which failed). I still keep monitoring, and tweaking each day, and it’s what I love to do.
